How to use your givestar voucher

Redeeming your givestar voucher and using it to donate to causes close to your heart.

If you have been given a givestar voucher, you will have received an email with a unique code. You can then claim this voucher within the givestar app and then use it to donate to causes or fundraising pages close to your heart


Claiming your voucher

1. Make sure you have downloaded the givestar app from the app or Google Play store - create an account or sign in
   
2. Navigate to the Give tab using the menu bar along the bottom of the app screen
   
3. Tap the wallet icon in the top right corner.
   
4. Select + ADD VOUCHER
   
5. Type in or paste your unique 12 digit code from the email you were sent and click Redeem Voucher
   

Spending your Voucher

1. Choose the charity or fundraising page you would like to donate to.
2. Select Make a Donation or Give Now.
3. On the donation summary screen, select your voucher under Payment Method.
4. Hit continue to process your voucher payment.
5. You'll receive an email confirming your voucher payment
   
   

Things to note:

• • Vouchers can only be redeemed once

• • You cannot give a platform tip or apply Gift-Aid when donating with a voucher, these will be removed at checkout
  • You can only donate in the currency the voucher has been given in
