givestar Enterprise - How to edit a Contactless Campaign Card

This article will highlight how to edit a contactless campaign card, with further detail on how to change and customise areas within the campaign. This also explores how to customise donation flow within a campaign.

All campaign cards can be edited at any time.

1. Click on the Contactless section on the left-hand menu.

2. By clicking the icon ‘edit’ below the relevant campaign card, you can proceed to edit your desired campaign.

The areas that are customisable are the following:

  • Branding Details

A charity logo was uploaded as part of the onboarding process and can therefore be changed to a desired image of your choice.

  • Primary Colour

This option gives the user control of the background colour of the mobile application, and the backing colour to any text added. You can remove any colour by simply clicking the ‘X’ in the text bar.

  • Donation Details

The toggle button allows the user to select the option of rapid donations. Pre-selecting this option removes content screens, disables gift aid, donation tagging and the Give a Little Extra feature.

  • Fundraising Screens

This enables the user to upload a photo which serves as the background for the fundraising page. We advise the photo needs to be uploaded in portrait format, with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels.

Additionally, added text can be displayed over the top of the image.

If you do need more than one fundraising screen, these can be created by clicking the ‘add screen’ button which allows up to four more.

  • Thank you screen

In the thank you screen, an image/photo for the background is required. A closing statement can also be added.

  • The next screen in the campaign is to choose up to 5 preset donation amounts. These will appear in the mobile applications as the amount to be chosen. To set up an amount, simply click into the circle and enter the amount.

  • The ‘Give a Little Extra’ feature, as known as the cover platform fee, allows the charity to show the donor how much extra it would be to cover the charity’s platform processing fees, thereby increasing the amount of donation it receives. Turning this on so the toggle turns yellow.

  • If Gift Aid is required, the toggle would need to be turned on thereby turning it yellow. Kindly note that gift aid cannot be claimed if you are selling an item using the device.

  • Furthermore, enabling the contact form after donation allows the donor to give their contact information to the charity after donating. This includes adding them to mailing lists, sending texts, etc.

  • Finally, allowing the donation tag allows the fundraiser to tag a specific donation with extra information. These can further be used to sort donation data.
