This article explains how to The givestar Enterprise platform collects and stores Gift Aid information as part of the donation flow. *Please note this article is catered for charity internal admins and team members only.
If Gift Aid functionality has been switched on for fundraising purposes, the information captured will be stored in the platform ready for the charity, or givestar, to process it via HMRC.
The Gift Aid report can be found in the reports section on the left hand menu of the givestar enterprise dashboard. The report has been designed with advice and support from the HMRC Gift Aid team, with the data laid out in order to easily transfer it to the HMRC supplied upload documents.
Please note that while all efforts have been made to ensure the data is laid out to HMRC requirements, the charity must review all the data to ensure it meets with all HMRC requirements before uploading.
