givestar Enterprise - How Do Groups Work - Hierarchy:

This article will inform you of how groups work, based on fundraiser user permissions and subgroups.

Hierarchy in groups is as follows:

Admin HQ > Team Member HQ > Volunteer HQ > Group Admin > Team Member > Volunteer.

HQ is known as your organisation’s ‘umbrella group’.

Admin:

  • HQ - Contactless campaigns can also be shared by HQ Admins. HQ admins therefore have the greatest access of any user level, with unrestricted access to every page, and the ability to view all results. Can give permission for their group team members to create and edit contactless campaigns, online giving pages.
  • Group – Designed for fundraisers/trusted team leaders at local level. Has significant access to the dashboard with some restrictions including the ability to create other groups, or edit charity information. Can create subgroups within their own group, and have all admin control. Slightly less access to payment tab.

Team Member:

  • HQ – For use by named individuals within the charity eg; members of the fundraising team. Access similar to admin HQ however restricted to editing charity info, viewing payment information and adding groups.
  • Group – For use of regular fundraisers. Can add and view fundraisers and add uses to campaigns. Medium access. Can only see contactless campaigns that have been shared with them by HQ, or campaigns created by their Group Admin.

Volunteer

  • Role for one off fundraisers – using contactless/chip and pin device. Limited access. Can update personal info and access any support pages.

Please be advised that groups and subgroups are only able to view certain information pertaining to themselves.
