      givestar - How can I raise for more than one charity?

      Split your fundraising between up to four charities with givestar’s Split Donate feature. This FAQ provides step-by-step instructions for both web browsers and the givestar mobile app (iPhone and Android).

      To raise funds for multiple charities on givestar using a web browser, follow these steps:

      1. Sign in or sign up: Visit the givestar website and sign in to your account. If you're new, sign up and complete your profile. (These options appear on the top right hand corner of the homepage).
      2. Create a campaign: Once logged in, click on the ‘Create Campaign’ button.
      3. Add charities: Select up to four charities you want to support. You can search for charities by name and add them one-by-one. Donations made to your campaign will be split evenly between each charity, as indicated by the ‘% Donation split’.
      4. Customise your campaign: Add a compelling campaign name, description, and image to your campaign page. Explain why you're fundraising for these charities and set a fundraising target.
      5. Launch your campaign: Once everything looks good, click the ‘Create Campaign’ button to start your fundraising campaign.

      To raise funds for multiple charities on the givestar app, follow these steps:

      1. Download the app: If you haven't already, download the givestar app from the Apple App Store if you’re an iPhone user, or download the givestar app from the Google Play Store if you’re an Android user. 
      2. Sign in or sign up: Open the app, sign in to your givestar account, or create a new one by clicking ‘Sign Up’.
      3. Create a campaign: Navigate to the ‘Campaigns’ tab at the bottom of your screen and then tap the ‘Create Campaign’ button.
      4. Select charities: Select up to four charities you want to support. You can search for charities by name and add them one-by-one. Donations made to your campaign will be split evenly between each charity, as indicated by the % split.
      5. Customize your campaign: Add a compelling campaign name, description, and image to your campaign page. Explain why you're fundraising for these charities and set a fundraising target.
      6. Launch your campaign: Once everything looks good, click the ‘Create Your Page’ button to start your fundraising campaign.
