This article will guide you on how to set up a fundraising page on givestar.io with the facilitation of editing and sharing the page.
1. First, log in to givestar.io and select sign up in the top right corner (a rectangle yellow button!).
2. Upon selecting sign up, input your details (first and last name, email address and a creation of a password). These details are all mandatory.
Kindly note a password requires it to be 6 or more characters as well as the inclusion of a capital and lowercase letters, number and a special character. An example of a valid password could be Welcome123*.
3. Once you are signed up, you will be taken to 'Your Fundraising’ area.
To create a fundraising page, simply select ‘ + CREATE NEW ‘.
4. Fill in your fundraising page with your desired details. This includes what charity you would like to support (*you can pick up to 4 charities!), name, description, fundraising target and a photo. Choose whether you want your page to be private, adn whether you would like to hear further news from the charity.

Once you are happy, click ‘Create’.
5. After creating your fundraising page, it will be present in the 'Your Fundraising’ are. To edit and share the page, simply click on the page you would like.
6. Select the ‘edit page’ button at the top left of your fundraising page. Once the changes are made, don’t forget to press save!
7. To share your page, redirect to your fundraising page and click share. This will enable you to be able to share your page link on WhatsApp, Facebook, X and LinkedIn!
8. Your fundraising page is now ready to be seen! Donors and users of the platform can search, donate and share your page.
