This article explains the different charges that apply to fundraising through givestar.
The fees charged for our services differ and they can be split into two types, card processing fees and givestar platform/ service fees.
The card processing fee is a fee charged for the actual processing of any electronic payment and our fees are as follows
UK credit and debit cards : 1.9% plus 20p
International credit and debit and Amex : 2.9% plus 30p
The givestar platform/ service fees are charged on our contactless / chip and pin donations and our ticketing software and are as follows
Contactless/ Chip and pin platform fee : 1.9%
Ticketing fee : 1.9%
Online donations : 0%
Boost Donate active app fee : £3.50 per month*
*fee is charged only if a unique device takes over £10 in donations in a calendar month. If the amount collected is less than £10, no active app fee is levied.
